Beyonce Single Ladies and New Album Sasha Fierce Beyonce fesses up to a split personality in her latest album. Welcome to Clevver TV, Im Dana Ward with all the details on Beyonces new album. The superstar reveals a new side in her 2-disc record. The album is titled I Am Sasha Fierce, and since it showcases Beyonce and her alter-ego, the set appropriately has 2-different covers. Part one from her 3rd solo album is I Am and it features Beyonce as herself with more personal song material however it is a slight detour from her traditional top-40 R&B style, as she focuses in on creating a more timeless, classic sound. And on the flip side, part two Sasha Fierce showcases her dramatic, alter-ego with more dance-oriented tracks. Getting down to the nitty-gritty, coming from the more raw part one, Halo and Broken-Hearted Girl are leaving critics saying that Bs voice shows restraint and that she can reach more vocal power by singing in a lower register. Switching from a ballads-style to a beat-based energy, part two features Radio with a skittering beat and Sweet Dreams with a hard drive. Some album collaborations include Babyface, Stargate and Sean Garrett. The first single from I Am Sasha Fierce is Single Ladies which she surprised fans with a sneak performance at Jay-Zs headlining set at a New Jersey concert. The song is about playing the game of love, and the music video features Beyonce and fellow gal-pals booty-shaking around in black leotards and heels, all being captured on black-and-white film. Another newly released single is If I Were a Boy and its already caused a bit of a stir in the industry. According to reports, the young woman who wrote the melody and lyrics did not know Beyonce recorded the song until a stranger revealed it to her. Its also being said that Beyonces manager-father aggressively pursued getting the song rights in order to later put Bs name on the writing credits. FYI, this type of legal rights battle in the music biz is reported as pretty common. Beyonce is set to officially premiere the first choreographed performance of one of the latest singles at the MTV Europe Music Awards in November.
