I ordered a fully trained female narcotic lab with passive alert. I got a female Lab-Mix, which did not know to sit, not recognized drug odors and did not know how to search. The best I was informed that the dog was trained on food-reward!!! How can a drug-dog make searches, at the presence of food? You will get alerts all the time!!!" Obviously, you can see Axel Bauman understands NOTHING about training detection dogs! He thinks if you use food as a reward, the dog is looking to alert on FOOD. If you use a towel tug for a reward, is the dog indicating on everything that has cotton in it? If you use a rubber ball, does the dog indicate on anything with rubber in it? The answer is NO! Has he ever heard of PROOFING? Why would a food reward be any different? As far as the training method, you let the dog show you what he is most willing to work for and train accordingly. BATF trains all their dogs using food! 6coach6 (Axel Bauman) got 3 dogs from me for $7500.00 plus shipping. Turns out he wanted BREEDING QUALITY DOGS, which I was never told. He also told me he was a dog training EXPERT, just "too busy" to train his own dogs. He also expected the dogs to be able to search a ship, including open steel stairs going up on top to the masts right out of the box. I believe Axel is clueless. I can count on one hand the number of clients in 30 years that were not happy. Axel is a joke! He asks why there are no comments of support on his You Tube page?
