I live in Edmonton (THATS ALL IM TELLING YOU.) and today was the anniversary of the 1987 tornado that killed 27 people and injuring over 300 more. The stories of the victims just broke my heart. Some horses that are successful and win lots of medals, ribbons, whatever and are getting trained everyday, dont you think the owner would be proud? Ive seen owners that have horses like that and arent happy with them. They say things like "Ugh, their not trying!" or "He/Shes so stupid! My horse cant do anything!!" and it makes me so pissed. The horses are trying their best and giving it their all when the owner thinks theyre not just because they lost one show or race so they go and throw the horse away, back into their stall pretending they dont even exist.

Tiny was a really old shetland pony at my riding school and had to get eneuthanized because she was 38 years old! In the year 2006, Toronto banned the American Pitbull because they were dangerous. Well, heres an arguement. The famous stereotype of pitbulls being dangerous and vicious is a LIE. All around the world, millions of shelters save unwanted or abused animals so they can get the home they diserve. Unfortanatly, some animals cannot be saved soon enough. Thats why we need you. And even though not all animals can be saved, we can try to save most of them from horrible homes. So I took her to this horse medical center or something like that where they let children with special needs ride horses. Now, Karen can ride a horse and is even going to lease one soon!
